PERRYSBURG 17, Rossford 6 - Coach Ray Pohlman: "Guess what - their defense grabbed our ankles when we pulled. We aligned deeper and told the officials." Shame on Rossford, which ought to know the rules and coach within them.

ILLINOIS - DEERFIELD YOUNG WARRIORS 26, Glenview 0 - Coach Keith Babb: "Our "B" back, who was sick last week, scored 4 touchdowns and ran for well over 200 yards. Most gratifying, with 5 minutes left in the game we took over on our own 5 yard line. We put in our 2nd and 3rd teamers and ran the wedge 8 consecutive times for 3 first downs and ran out the clock."

NEW JERSEY - LOWER TOWNSHIP (Cape May) RAIDERS 18, Wildwood 6 - Coach Frank Simonsen: "The score was 18 0 with 2 min. left in the 1st.1/2. The second team played the rest of the game. They gave up a score but Wildwood's 1st team could not stop our second team's 88 & 99 SP. When the game ended they had driven over 60 yr. to the 4 yd. line just running SPs. The parents of the second team are now going to elect me mayor .Doesn't winning change things!"

VIRGINIA - CRAIG COUNTY COUGARS 24, Narrows Green 8 - Coach JIm Fisher: "When we lined up in Tight formation their coach called time out before we could even snap the ball. I didn't run any offensive plays in pre-game warmups because I didn't want them to see it. I told my boys we were going to run TIGHT RIP 88 SUPER POWER until they stopped it. We did and they couldn't."
