Whatever you do about your decoder (or game plan, if you will), you will want to make sure that you have each play's code address on it.
This is what you will use to call plays. I make sure to laminate mine.
You will also want to make sure that all plays have the correct address - that the co-ordinates on your decoder correspond to the coordinates on the play cards. (Trust me on this one.) Check this and double-check it with your team before you go on the field.
